Thames Town to Build Wood Frame Houses
With the energy saving and environment friendly wooden architectures becoming more and more popular in Shanghai, ThamesTown in Songjiang New City has tried to build houses with wood structure. It was the first time that a wood house construction project of large scale was developed in Shanghai.
It was said that LeedsGarden in ThamesTown had unveiled 13 wood structure villas and before that another 64 wooden villas have already been finished in ThamesTown. All these villas were built with materials supplied by Canadian suppliers specializing in wood architectures. And the Canada Wood is responsible for the on site management as well as technical instruction during the construction to ensure the quality control.
The finished part of the project shows that the wood structure houses are more environment friendly and energy saving. Apart from that, the buyers are poised to enjoy more usable area due to the reduction in the thickness of walls.
